Domestic Shipping (Within South Africa):

  • Standard Shipping: 5-7 business days, tracked. Free on orders over ZAR2000.
  • Express Shipping: 2-3 business days, tracked. Select upgrade at checkout under ZAR15000 otherwise included with orders over ZAR15000.

Times do vary based on Courier and seasonal fluctuations and destination, always check their direct website or contact us first.

International Shipping:

  • Express International Shipping: 10-15 business days, tracked. Upgrade available at checkout or included on orders over ZAR20000.

Please note that international shipments may be subject to customs duties and taxes that are not included in our shipping rates. The customer is responsible for these additional charges.

Shipping Procedures:

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 2-3 business days. Allow 10 days for alterations to items or custom orders - contact us prior to ordering if needed.
  • Tracking: Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
  • Insurance: All shipments are insured for the manufacturing cost of the merchandise.
  • Packaging: We take utmost care in packaging our products to ensure they arrive in their original condition.

Shipping Restrictions:

  • We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or military addresses for international orders.
  • Some countries may have shipping restrictions or special requirements. Please check your local customs regulations before ordering.

Shipping during Peak Seasons/Holidays:

Please be aware that shipping times may vary during peak shopping seasons or holidays. We recommend placing your orders early to ensure timely delivery.

Returns and Exchanges:

Please refer to our Return Policy for detailed information on returns and exchanges. Note that exchanges and returns are for byers account limited to your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Law.

Incorrect Address/Undeliverable Packages:

Please ensure that the shipping address provided is accurate. We are not responsible for undeliverable packages due to incorrect address information. Additional shipping charges will apply for re-shipping any order(s).

Customs, Duties & Taxes:

International orders may be subject to customs clearance procedures, which can cause delays beyond original delivery estimates. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country and must be paid by the recipient.

In the unfortunate event of apparent missing shipments or damaged parcels, the following policies apply:

Missing Shipments:

  • Investigation: If a shipment is marked as delivered but the customer reports it as missing, we will initiate an investigation with the shipping carrier. This process can take up to a minimum of 10 business days.
  • Proof of Delivery: We may request additional information, such as proof of identity, to validate the claim.
  • Resolution: If the shipment is confirmed missing by the carrier and all necessary criteria are met, we will offer a refund or replacement at our discretion.

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for missing shipments if the tracking information confirms that the item has been delivered to the correct address.

Damaged Parcels:

  • Reporting Damage: If a parcel arrives damaged, the customer must report the issue to us within 48 hours of receipt, along with photographic evidence of the damage.
  • Investigation: We will conduct an internal investigation and may also file a claim with the shipping carrier.
  • Resolution: Depending on the outcome of the investigation, we may offer a refund, replacement, or repair.

Fraud Prevention:

  • To protect against fraudulent claims, all transactions and communication must be conducted through our official website or customer service channels.
  • We reserve the right to deny claims that are suspicious or inconsistent with our policies.

Final Decision:

The final decision on missing or damaged shipments rests solely with Knysna Jewellers and will be made in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
